Over the years, I\u2019ve completed 2 full marathons, over 20 half marathons, an ascent, and too many 5k, 10k, and relays to count. I LOVE running, meeting new and old friends, and choose my races based on their medals. This will be my 6 season coaching and 5 season organizing. To be honest, \u2018training for my first marathon\u2019 is not a phrase I ever thought I would say! My first half marathon was in 2013 and I have been working on running a half or full marathon in every state since. I recently completed my second half marathon and look forward to running half and full distances in the future! My first marathon and half marathon was in 2013 and I have been running in race distances from 5K \u2013 Marathon ever since. This past year I ran the Boston Marathon and completed my first 50 miler. I am also working on my goal of running a half or full marathon in every state so I am always looking for new races! My goal for this year is to complete my first 100 mi, the Leadville 100. I began racewalking to improve my fitness, weight loss and to manage diabetes 21years ago. I regularly compete in 3k, 5k, and 10k races. My current goal is completing the 50 state half marathon challenge. Many exercisers who walk would like to be faster. My greatest satisfaction is helping walkers meet that goal by teaching improved form and technique for both speed walking and racewalking.
